MUSIC LESSONS

GUITAR LESSONS

    • The instrument of your choice (classical guitar, acoustic steel string or electric)

    • A zoom compatible device to stream your online lesson & the zoom app

    • Picks

    • Tuner (or tuning app on your phone)

If you are playing electric, you will also need:

    • Amp

    • Instrument cable

I will provide you with teaching materials in your lesson. And if I think your learning style would be served by a method book, I’ll recommend one to you in your lessons.

  • With the guitar being a larger instrument that also requires finger strength, six years old is generally the youngest age to start.

If your child is this young, they will also require a 1/2 size guitar to get the most out of their lessons.

  • Any age! I teach students of all ages (over the age of 6) and you’re never too old to learn something new.

  • Definitely! I’ve taught hundreds of beginners how to play the guitar.

It’s a pleasure to teach beginner students because I’m able to set you up with the correct foundation and technique from the jump.

  • Investing in weekly lessons is the best way to consistently improve and progress.

Taking lessons weekly, keeps your practice consistent and top of mind, and helps you stay accountable to learn what we work on weekly.

  • That’s an impossible question to answer.

This depends on your level of commitment, your experience with music and how far you want to take it. I tell my students to simply stay the course and you will get to your destination. Learning an instrument is not a race.
